Voltage converter with microcontroller
Jedlinský, Lukáš ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
In these baccalaureate work is buckthorn power supply mobile computer from automobile nets. Main thought is using suspense raising equable changers with high working frequency. To regulation and operating sources will used microprocessor series AT Tiny. Will also be effected project programmatic equipment and his implementation to the integrated perimeter and project PCB and by herself realization hereof perimeter.
Mobile robot control system
Bugár, Loránt ; Jílek, Tomáš (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
Bachelors project is fixated for creating a mobile robot with a real time operating system. The robot control system is based on a microcontroller Arduino with ARM Cortex-m3 processor. The practical part is dealing with resolving the client-server communication with the UDP protocol, also with the identification of the engine from measured data’s by the Simulink and subsequently designing the PI regulator from the identificated data’s. In he last part of the work the focus is giving to solving the communication with I2C bus and using sensors like : accelerometer, ultrasonic sensor, infra sensor, light sensor, hall sensor and usage of a robotic arm. An application is created for controlling the robot and for visualisation of sensor readings..
Battery charger
Paták, Michal ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with battery charging. The thesis describes qualities and possi-bilities of lithium battery charging. The charger is independent on the input voltage and recharges batteries carefully. Due to a careful recharging process it is needed to measure the voltage at various cells of the battery and then balance this voltage. Since the charger is to be implemented in a robot, it is needed to switch the operation from an external source and the battery. The first part of the project deals with qualities of batteries and the way of their recharging. In the second part I design an individual blocks charger. In the third part I deal with a communication with a computer charger and data visualization. And in the last part I designed a program for the charger.
Control of HVAC equipments
Zaoralová, Kateřina ; Weiglhofer,, Willy (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is application of the topic Control of HVAC equipments. The thesis is divided into three part – A, B, C. The first theoretical part deals with controlling/regulation in general, it focuses on controlling/regulation of HVAC equipments and it describes ways of air volume flow measurement, which relates to the third experimental part. The second part is focused on design of HVAC system in inpatient ward and fit-out for employees. In the third part was realized verification of air flow volume controller in two chosen buildings, whence in one there weren´t fulfilled manufacturer´s requirements and in the second one they were fulfilled. In conclusion there were compared measured values.
Active Compensation of Tool Deflection
Zarboch, Jaromír ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Březina, Tomáš (advisor)
This paper deals with design of tool deflection compensation system for milling spindle C1, provided by company TOSHULIN, a.s. A simplified simulation model of the spindle supplemented by compensatory elements was built by using programs ANSYS, MD ADAMS, Matlab/Simulink. As action elements there were use three piezoactuators each controled by PID controler. Efficiency of this compensation system was verified based on performed simulations.
Aircraft air-conditioning systems
Lednický, Ondřej ; Horák, Marek (referee) ; Třetina, Karel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the aircraft air-conditioning systems, their functions and basic tasks needed for a safe and comfortable flight. The thesis is divided into several chapters: the first one deals with the most important factors influencing human health. Next chapter is focused on a description of the assurance of main components which are composing the aircraft air-conditioning system. Final chapter of the thesis deals with oxygen systems, which are essential for the survivor of the passengers in the case of an accident.
Comparative study of PID and PSD Controllers
Staněk, Viktor ; Dvořáček, Martin (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
Description of PID and PSD controllers structures. Verification of function of heterogeneous structures of PSD controllers on typicall transfer functions. Respones to changes of input value. Effect of change of sampling period on PSD cotrollers. Verification of influence of derivative part of PS-D and S-PD controllers.
Comparative study of discrete PSD controllers
Vaňková, Tereza ; Dvořáček, Martin (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is focused on a verification of heterogeneous structures of discrete PSD controller depending on different process structures. The first theoretic part describes a continuous action controller, a transformation from the continuous to the discrete control and a discrete control loop (with issues like a sampling, a quantization, a signal shaping). Further there are described the concrete structures of the discrete PSD controllers – from the classical PSD controller over the variations with filtration in a derivative part to the structures with an elimination of the oscillation and the first overshoot. There are also mentioned two methods of controller parameters´ setting– second Z-N method (based on finding out critical parameters of the system) and a balanced setting of controllers. Second, practical, part of thesis contains particular results, which were found out by measuring on the simulation and real models. Finally achieved results are compared with an adaptive controller of B&R company.
Mobile robot control system
Kalina, Michal ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Hynčica, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with building of two-wheeled mobile robot and consecutive creation of drivers and control for sensors, engines and controller design. The control is based on Arduino platform using ATmega328 processor. Firstly there is in this thesis recherche. Part of this thesis is modelling one where simulation model of our system is created, its linearization and then controller design. Further it contains description of the building robots body, description and functionallity of used engines, description of all sensors and detailed description of available printed circuit board. In the end there is software part where the engines control is described, operation of the sensors and functionallity of the controller. Result of this thesis is function application of controlling and operating of two-wheeled unstable mobile robot.
Control circuits of eddy-current brake
Hofmann, Oldřich ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of control circuits for the eddy-current brake, which will be used as main component of the dynamometer. The thesis focuses on the design of transistor inverter used for driving the eddy current brake and the design of speed regulation. The thesis also describes various types of brakes used in dynamometers and the overall concept of dynamometer electrical systems. An integral part of the thesis is also the test of the current controller and simulation of the control system at MATLAB – SIMULINK.
